Gerrard Schmid Gerrard Schmid
Chief Executive Officer and Director, D+H

Gerrard Schmid is the Chief Executive Officer of D+H (TSX: DH), a leading financial technology provider to the North American financial services marketplace focused on developing and delivering innovative technology solutions to help financial institutions grow, compete and optimize their own operations. He is also a member of the D+H Board of Directors.

Under the leadership of Mr. Schmid, who became CEO in February 2012, D+H has accelerated its broader strategic growth and transformation agenda through a combination of innovation, acquisition and partnership while ensuring the company continues to retain its core focus on being a trusted provider of relevant technology and solutions that have been developed based on deep insight into client and customer needs. As a result of its acquisition of Harland Financial Solutions, which was completed in August 2013, D+H now serves more than 6,200 financial institutions across North America. In 2012, D+H rose to No. 35 on the FinTech 100 ranking of North American financial technology companies and, in 2013, was ranked Canada’s number one Software-as-a-Service company by Branham, an independent research firm.

Mr. Schmid joined D+H in 2007 as President of one of its operating divisions after an extensive career in the financial services sector. In 2009, he was named as D+H President and Chief Operating Officer before becoming CEO in 2012. Prior to joining D+H, Mr. Schmid served as head of the deposits and overdraft lending business of Lloyds TSB Bank in the United Kingdom and in Canada as the Chief Operating Officer of CIBC’s Retail Bank where among other responsibilities he oversaw telephone and Internet channels, sales automation technologies and operational risk. Prior to CIBC, Mr. Schmid was an Associate Principal with McKinsey and Company focusing on financial services and e-commerce.

Mr. Schmid is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation, the Toronto Cabinet of the United Way and the Campaign Cabinet of the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Engineering. He holds a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto and has a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand.
 
Brian Kyle Brian Kyle
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, D+H

Brian Kyle is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at D+H (TSX: DH), a leading financial technology provider to the North American financial services marketplace and one of the fastest rising companies in the FinTech100 rankings.

As CFO, Mr. Kyle plays a crucial role in ensuring D+H has the means to deliver on its broad strategic agenda to continue diversifying its financial technology service offerings and expand its geographic presence while delivering strong returns to its shareholders. He ensures that D+H remains a profitable, cash-flow positive business that is able to invest for long-term performance without sacrificing financial strength or its dividend. A member of the D+H senior executive team, Mr. Kyle is also responsible for leading investor relations.

Mr. Kyle brings more than 20 years of general and financial management experience to his role as D+H CFO, gained from senior financial positions he held at a wide variety of companies in the technology, aerospace, consumer goods and e-commerce positions, including Ernst & Young Chartered Accountants, Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants, Cott Corporation and CAE Inc. Prior to joining D+H, he was Vice President and CFO for Teranet Inc.

Mr. Kyle is a member of the Board of Directors of VersaPay Corporation. He has an MBA from Queen’s University and an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from the University of Windsor. He is also a Certified Management Account (CMA).
 
Duncan Hannay Duncan Hannay
President, D+H Canada

Mr. Hannay is responsible for leading and growing D+H's Canadian business and building on the company's long-term relationships with Canada's financial institutions and governments. He ensures that D+H remains focused on leveraging its deep industry, market, and consumer expertise to provide the relevant and innovative financial technology solutions Canadian banks and credit unions need to grow, compete and optimize their business.

Mr. Hannay is well-equipped to understand client needs and challenges based on his background of over 25 years' experience building and growing businesses in the financial services and technology sectors. Prior to becoming President of D+H Canada, Mr. Hannay served on the management team of Scotiabank's Canadian Banking division, as Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing, where he also served on the boards of Scotia Capital Inc. and SCENE LP, one of Canada's fastest growing loyalty programs. He has also served as Managing Director and Head of Online Brokerage at Scotiabank, a position he held after the bank's acquisition of E*TRADE Canada Securities, where he was President and CEO and where he previously held increasingly senior strategy, business development and marketing roles with E*TRADE Financial in Toronto and New York.

Mr. Hannay received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from McMaster University and has also completed the Strategic Management in Banking, Business Administration and Management program at INSEAD. In 2010, he was inducted into the McMaster University Alumni Gallery, and in 2013 was named Strategy Magazine's “Marketer of the Year.” He is currently the vice chair of the board of directors of Covenant House Toronto, Canada's largest shelter for homeless youth.
 
William W. Neville William W. Neville
President, D+H USA

Mr. Neville is responsible for heading up D+H's rapidly expanding U.S. operations and for further broadening D+H's presence in the United States.

The U.S. is an important market for D+H where it supports regional banks, community banks and credit unions by offering relevant and innovative solutions based on a deep understanding of client and customer needs. In 2012 alone, D+H added more than 500 U.S. banks and credit unions as clients and now serves more than 1,700 financial institutions in the United States. Mr. Neville's deep industry experience, gained over 25 years spent in the banking and financial technology sectors, ensures that D+H remains focused on developing solutions that are firmly centered on enabling clients to grow, compete, and offer their desired customer experience.

Before being appointed to the newly created position of President of D+H's US operations in October 2012, he served on the D+H Board of Directors since 2009, during which time he played an important role in the company's acquisition of Mortgagebot. Prior to joining the D+H Board, he was Managing Director and Head of Citi's North American Hedge Fund Servicing business. He has also served as President, BISYS Alternative Investment Services and Group President, BISYS Banking Solutions Group and has held various positions in other technology services companies, including IBM Corporation, Data Management Systems Corporation and Mutual Services, Inc. Mr. Neville also served as Chairman of the Advisory Board at Compushare from 2010 to 2012.

Mr. Neville holds an MBA from Suffolk University's Sawyer School of Management.
 
David Caldwell David Caldwell
Managing Director, Corporate Development, D+H

David Caldwell is Managing Director, Corporate Development at D+H (TSX: DH), a leading financial technology provider to the North American financial services marketplace. In this role, Mr. Caldwell is responsible for developing and executing strategies to support the company's growth agenda in the FinTech space, including identifying and overseeing acquisition and divestiture activities; establishing strategic partnerships between D+H and other industry leaders; industry and peer monitoring; and working closely with the company's US Advisory Board to identify and capitalize on growth initiatives in the United States.

Banks and Credit Unions, faced with an increasingly complex environment, are looking to their partners for integrated technology and solutions that can help them grow, compete, and optimize operations. Mr. Caldwell's background in strategic planning and corporate development is critical to ensuring D+H is anticipating, identifying and acting on meaningful growth opportunities that continue to expand our capabilities to support and anticipate the needs of clients and their customers.

Mr. Caldwell brings over 25 years of experience to the role. Prior to joining D+H in 2011, he was Managing Director, Corporate Development at CIBC World Markets. He has also served as Managing Director, Financial Institutions Group at CIBC World Markets and Vice President, Planning and Development at Sun Life Financial.

Mr. Caldwell has a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science from Carleton University and earned his MBA in Corporate Finance from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto.
 
Yves Denommé Yves Denommé
Executive Vice President, Operations, D+H

Mr. Denommé oversees D+H's manufacturing and servicing operations and leads the company's business services group, including strategic sourcing, vendor management and business transformation. He also oversees D+H's student loan servicing line of business, with a portfolio of $20 billion serving 1.7 million students on behalf of Canadian governments and lenders, as part of the company's expanding Lending Processing Solutions platform.

Over the past decade, D+H has grown both organically and through a series of strategic acquisitions and now ranks 35th on the FinTech 100 and is the top Canadian Software-as-a-Service Company in the 2013 edition of Branham300 rankings. Through this period of growth, Mr. Denommé has applied his extensive experience in operational excellence, process re-engineering and business transformation to ensure that newly acquired companies are effectively integrated into D+H; that the company is proactively managing operating costs; and that D+H continues to earn clients' trust by providing the seamless and optimized service delivery on which D+H has built its reputation.

Mr. Denommé joined D+H in 2000 as Director of Technical Operations after holding key positions in manufacturing, engineering and supply chain management with organizations such as Kraft and Proctor & Gamble. In 2002, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations and became Executive Vice President of Operations in 2009.

Mr. Denommé participates at a grass roots level in local fundraising events, including Junior Achievement, Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion, and Ski Express for MS. He is an Associate Member of the Toronto CFA Institute. Mr. Denommé obtained a degree in engineering & management from McMaster University and his MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
 
Bob Noftall Bob Noftall
Executive Vice President, Human Resources, D+H

Mr. Noftall is responsible for developing and executing the company's North American H.R. strategy, and ensuring alignment between our employees and our business strategy. As EVP, Human Resources, he is ultimately focused on enabling the company to deliver on its promise of being a place where employees are inspired in their jobs, committed to developing in their careers, and innovative in their approach to delivering for our customers and owners.

D+H is one of the fastest rising companies in the FinTech100, a ranking of the top technology providers to the global financial services industry and over the past decade, through organic growth and a series of acquisitions in Canada and the United States, the company has broadened its geographic range, diversified its business and tripled its workforce. Mr. Noftall's deep experience in organizational change and leadership development have been critical to ensuring that D+H employees remain focused on delivering solutions and service that provide exceptional value for clients, while also making sure the company is effectively integrating new employees who have joined D+H through acquisition.

Mr. Noftall brings over 25 years of experience leading Human Resources both in North America and internationally to his role at D+H. Before joining D+H in January 2011, he led Regional HR for the Americas for Cadbury Schweppes based out of the United States and, prior to that, Regional HR for Asia Pacific based out of Melbourne and Singapore. He has also been a consultant with Tower Perrin and has held generalist HR positions in the oil and gas sector.

Mr. Noftall is the former Board Chair and volunteer with the Griffin Centre, an accredited non-profit, charitable, multi-service agency in Toronto providing services for vulnerable youth and adults with mental health challenges and/or developmental disabilities and their families. He is also a former Board member of The National Ballet of Canada. Mr. Noftall earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and a Masters Degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto.
 
Young Park Young Park
Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, D+H

Ms. Park is responsible for leading the overall technology direction for D+H, including overseeing the company's multi-million dollar commitment to technology and infrastructure investment.

As the financial sector becomes increasingly technology driven, D+H offers a growing range of products and services to help its bank and credit union customers grow, compete, and optimize operations. D+H continues to innovate, evolve, and invest in technology and Ms. Park's extensive knowledge of strategic planning, consulting, business development and operations management ensure that D+H's technology strategy delivers what customers need. She joined D+H in 2012, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry to her role. Prior to D+H, Ms. Park was at CGI Group, where she was Sector Vice President for Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, responsible for business strategy, IT strategy, application development and sales delivery in the Greater Toronto area.

Ms. Park began her career at Bell Northern Research and then Nortel, where she was a member of the scientific staff. She also worked at Bell Sygma as General Manger of Systems Development and at ReserveAmerica, where she was Vice President Information Systems and Technology.

Ms. Park holds a Bachelor of Math (Co-op Computer Science) from the University of Waterloo and has completed the Queen's Executive Development program. Her community involvement includes serving as a member of the board of directors of Markham Stouffville Hospital and the Toronto Region Immigration Employment Council (TRIEC); she is also actively involved in the United Way of Peel Region.
 
Carrie Russell Carrie Russell
Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, D+H

Ms. Russell leads all marketing, communications and new product commercialization across the company, overseeing D+H's messaging, branding and overall customer experience. Ms. Russell is also responsible for developing and leading a new product innovation centre at D+H dedicated to new product commercialization, assessing opportunities and bringing them to market.

D+H's has a long history as a trusted partner to the financial services industry and a proven track record for providing relevant and meaningful solutions for North American banks and credit unions. Being able to meet the constantly evolving needs of our customers requires both a deep understanding of the customer and a keen focus on innovation and Ms. Russell brings her extensive background in banking to the role. Her experience in product and business management across the retail, commercial, and wealth management industries, along with her experience in customer centric product innovation and business strategy development for new and transforming businesses, ensures that D+H's customer and product strategies remain aligned to what the market needs.

Prior to joining D+H in 2013, she spent over 20 years in senior executive roles in the financial services industry, most recently at TD Canada Trust as Senior Vice President in retail product management. Previously, she was head of TD's Merchant Services and TD Waterhouse Institutional Services and has also held the role of Vice President Operations for outsourcing company CFDS and Director at CIBC.

Ms. Russell has served on the boards of Interac, the Canadian Payments Association, the Canadian Bankers Association and the Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People. She has been actively involved in financial literacy programs and wrote for Canadian Living magazine. Ms. Russell holds an Honors BA in Political Science from McGill University in Montreal.
