The awards, created as part of Teller Appreciation Week (October 6 – 12, 2007), which was introduced by the company in 1995, recognizes tellers for excellence in one of several categories, including, teamwork, community service, and leadership.

The 2007 winners, selected from numerous nominations, were Lisa Fannon, State Bank of Long Island for teamwork; Deisy Lara, First National Bank and Trust Company for leadership; and Colleen Steele, The Middlefield Banking Company for community service.

Each winner received a certificate, gift basket, and a $250 donation on their behalf to the charity of their choice.
