Davis + Henderson to Appoint New Trustee and Board Member

TORONTO, Apr 30, 2009 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) — Davis + Henderson Income Fund (TSX: DHF.UN) is pleased to announce that its Board of Trustees intends to appoint William W. Neville as a Trustee of the Fund. Mr. Neville will be appointed by the Board of Trustees immediately following the upcoming Annual General Meeting of Unitholders to be held on May 5, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. at the Design Exchange, 234 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario.

Mr. Neville is an experienced financial services executive, having spent 25 years in firms providing technology based services to the financial industry in the United States. Mr. Neville worked with BISYS Inc. for 15 years, during which time the company moved from a start-up to a $1 billion sales business. Holding many different positions in the company and in other technology services companies, including IBM Corporation, Data Management Systems Corporation and Mutual Services Inc., Mr. Neville has had executive-level experience in mergers and acquisitions, and product development and delivery. In his most recent management role, Mr. Neville was Managing Director, Hedge Fund Services for Citigroup in New York. The Trustees of Davis + Henderson believe that Mr. Neville will bring important new capabilities to the Davis + Henderson Board.
