Fundtech Appoints Chris Zingo as Global Head of Sales
Industry veteran to lead Fundtech’s global sales organization
Jersey City, NJ, July 30, 2013 - Fundtech, a market leader in global transaction banking solutions, today announced the hiring of Chris Zingo as Global Head of Sales. Brought on to lead Fundtech’s global sales organization, Mr. Zingo’s responsibilities include providing leadership to the sales teams in the Americas, EMEA and APAC, as well as overseeing the recently formed pre-sales and sales operations groups. He will report to Fundtech President and Chief Operating Officer Edward Ho.
Mr. Zingo brings over 16 years of experience leading global sales teams in financial software sales and strategy. Throughout his career, he has focused on expanding sales capacity by developing, implementing and managing infrastructures to support a solution-based sales methodology.
He was most recently Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at Calypso Technology, a developer and marketer of capital markets and risk management software solutions for the financial services industry. In this capacity, he implemented a global go-to-market strategy resulting in the accelerated growth of strategic solutions, an expanded global footprint in Latin America, Russia, China and Southeast Asia, and the top spot on the IBS Sales League Table for new client acquisitions in capital markets for three years running.“

He was also a Managing Director and Senior Vice President at Thomson Financial focusing on corporate and institutional sales. He started his career as a Regional Sales Manager for Bloomberg Financial.
